The concrete industry is evolving, with new products, services, and technology. World of Concrete 2027 will give contractors a firsthand look at what comes next. The annual trade show returns to the Las Vegas Convention Center Jan. 19-21, with educational programming beginning Jan. 18. More than 47,400 professionals attended the 2026 event, and organizers are preparing another broad showcase of equipment, technology and hands-on learning.
“World of Concrete is where the future of concrete and masonry construction is built. We are honored to be part of a worldwide community that champions innovation, elevates performance, and celebrates the artistry of craftsmanship,” says Jackie James, vice president of World of Concrete. “Each year, our exhibitors and attendees come together to connect, collaborate, and uncover new opportunities that will continue to shape the industry’s future.”
World of Concrete Highlights
That future will be visible across the show’s exhibit halls. In the North Hall, Technology for Construction will spotlight software, robotics, artificial intelligence and estimating tools. The Producer Center will focus on equipment and systems for ready-mixed concrete operations, while the Central Hall will feature material-handling equipment and Work Truck LIVE!, highlighting ways to improve fleet efficiency and job site productivity.
Outdoor exhibits will provide visitors with an opportunity to see heavy machinery and construction techniques in action. The Silver and Bronze lots will host demonstrations, equipment displays, and competitions that bring the industry’s skills into focus.
Education is another major attraction at World of Concrete. The 2027 program features more than 175 expert-led sessions, including over 65 new topics. Contractors can explore technical practices, safety, project management and business strategy, as well as emerging applications of AI.
Where people connect
World of Concrete is as much about people as products. On Jan. 20, the Spec Mix Bricklayer 500 World Championship will challenge elite masons competing for the title of “World’s Best Bricklayer.” The Masonry Skills Challenge and Fastest Trowel on the Block will also showcase craftsmanship under pressure.
New programming includes an AI Luncheon & Forum examining the use of artificial intelligence in field operations. The Connect with the Experts roundtables will give attendees opportunities for smaller-group discussions with industry specialists. A women’s leadership breakfast will focus on professional growth and advancement.
For professionals seeking practical takeaways, the new Innovation & Inspiration LIVE! stages will feature 45-minute presentations in the North and South halls, combining demonstrations and audience questions. Organizers describe the format as “No sales pitches,” with an emphasis on solutions participants can bring back to their jobs.
“The ability to engage with our largest audience of end-users, understand market sentiment and seeing projects develop continues to be key at World of Concrete,” says John Paul Marcantonio, President & CEO, Bosch Power Tools North America. “This event is the destination of the year for the industry.”
Beyond the exhibits, the show will feature an economic forecast breakfast with economists Ed Sullivan and Pierre Villere, along with events devoted to decorative concrete, coatings and restoration.
World of Concrete will also host silent and live auctions supporting the Concrete Industry Management program. Organizers say the auctions have helped raise more than $22 million over 21 years for education and workforce development.
For contractors, suppliers and other construction professionals, the appeal is straightforward: Compare equipment, learn from experts and build relationships in one place.
